Levi Grimes is accepting applications for an internship program. Looking for someone interested in a career in horses. This position will involve average barn chores, such as feeding and stall cleaning, grooming, saddling, and warming up some horses. In addition, the internship will be great exposure to colt starting, progressing young horses, cattle work, cowboying, and finishing show horses for both Roping and Reined Cow Horse. There may be opportunities to travel to National and local horse shows. The amount of riding will depend on the intern’s experience level, however, we consider an intern to be a student -- not just barn help-- and will help further his or her knowledge accordingly. This area is a one of a kind rural community of ranchers and horsemen and working here will be a great experience for someone looking to keep learning. We offer room and board, transportation to and from work, and a small monthly stipend.
