CONSULTANT REQUIRED
Punjab Forensic Science Agency requires services of consultant for appointment on contract basis for a period of six (06) months to provide torchlight to the presently working forensic scientists with the special focus on providing leadership, constructing quality assurance adaptations, Capacity Building, enhancing transparency and efficiency of the present and future human resource to be hired in near future for the Punjab Forensic Science Agency.
Title Position Qualification and Experience Tasks and Responsibilities
Consultant (Narcotics – & Toxicology) 1 Ph.D. in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry with at least Ten (10) years work experience as bench analyst in a reputable, accredited Forensic Science Laboratory and atleast two (02) years administrative experience of working in an accredited international Forensic Science Laboratory. Experience in Forensic Toxicology and Narcotics Chemistry is very important for this position. Formal Training from an Accredited Full Service forensic Laboratory, membership of American/ British Society of Forensic Experts and had experience of testifying in Court of law To monitor the analytical procedures being adopted by the forensic scientists of concerned section of Narcotics & Toxicology. To supervise the concerned sections in dispensation of official duties pertaining to analysis of forensic evidence. To monitor the validation processes undertaken by the forensic scientists to solve a specific forensic case. To provide solutions of the difficult cases regarding Narcotics & Toxicology by utilizing previous experience regarding forensic Science. Provision of qualitative and quantitative methods of analyzing forensic evidences pertaining to narcotics/ toxicology. To exercise excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to contribute to a team. To prepare and organize Labs for accreditation and modify procedures and SOPs from time to time.

d) Interested consultants/professionals have to appear for an interview before the Selection Committee and give presentation on their approach, methodology, understanding of the task and deliverables.
e) No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in interview/presentation and the Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.
